Not yet, but I will soon  A 480 on a New Vaquero. It's going to have a S&W rear sight as well. Jack did say that the nose of the frame is going to have to be welded up and shaped to get the barrel to look right. It should be done in a couple months.  |

CHECK MY BOOKS "SINGLE ACTION SIXGUNS" AND/OR "BOOK OF THE .44" FOR PICTURES OF CUSTOM RUGER OM WITH 5-1/2" S&W BARREL BY ANDY HORVATH. PERHAPS SOMEONE COULD SNAP A PICTURE FROM THE BOOK AND POST IT. |

(But what happens to the cylinder pin latch and shield on the barrel?) The underlug on the barrel gets removed, and the threads get cut off and re-cut to fit the Ruger frame. It will end up being 4 5/8" It's also getting a different front sight blade. |
