Well, it had to happen eventually. Looks like somebody actually "printed" a 1911 from steel... More akin to using a computer attached to a milling machine to cut away everything that doesn't look like a gun from a solid block of stainless. blog.solidconcepts.com/industry-highlights/worlds-first-3d-printed-metal-gun/The exciting thing about this from my perspective is the potential for replicating obsolete parts.
