I sure hope the folks in Virginia vote for Ken Cuchenelli tonight and not that IDIOT Terry McAwful!! It was close last I heard. How we ever got to where we are in this country....oh well.

Well hope in one hand and s**t in the other and see what ya get first! Not enough voters have come to their senses yet I guess. Sigh....

Unfortunate that the third party straw candidate handed the election to McAuliffe.

This happens so often it drives me nuts! Guys say, well he isn't conservative enough so I will vote my conscience. Voting ones conscience is fine but it does often throw the vote to the guy you like the least. The last time I did that I voted for Perot. Look what it got us, 8 years of Clinton and possibly another 8 years of Clinton in 2016. 3rd party candidates just muck up the works.

I still wonder how much the Democratic Party paid Perot to run.

I too was a victim of "voting for Perot." NEVER again,, I learned from my mistakes. In politics,, you may need to vote for the lesser of the two evils,, and forget a third party,, even if the 3rd party guy is the best one. Never throw away a vote. I feel for my Virginia neighbors.

I still wonder how much the Democratic Party paid Perot to run. He had enough money of his own. I think he ran for the right reasons, but he siphoned off enough votes to get Clinton elected, plain and simple. Voting 3rd parties is like masturbation, it feels good, but the end result is a mess.

I agree... It seems like every election I have ever voted in I voted for the lesser of two evils. It's tough when you also know that voting for the lesser of two evils still leaves you voting for evil. I guess mostly it means for me that the best choice is never the perfect choice.

I am always torn on this subject of the lesser of two evils. Do I vote for what I want and not get it or do I vote for what I don't want and possibly get it.
Almost none of them are conservative enough.

It is really easy. One party believes in bigger and bigger government. One doesn't.
