If I wanted to use my busted XR3 for a number 5 project (I am still storing away my Power Custom #5 frame for something) what parts of tha tframe would I need? Just the front strap and trigger guard right? Also, when you chop the Bisley frame in half (more or less) do the seats for the mainspring strut line up or is there some work to be done there too?

If you have one of Ron Power's #5 grip frames, hold it over the XR3 so the front strap and the trigger gaurd roughly line-up and see how the rest of the goemetry looks. Should be pretty self-explanitory after that.

If he actually had a Power #5 grip frame he would not need to ask this question.
