The base pin on my cattleman share the same problem as most Colt and Colt clones - they are hard to pinch and pull out. What are the cheap and dirty ways of adding a fat head to the factory pin?

thats the best way unless you have a turning lathe and mill.. then you can turn collar off, thread 1/4-28 tpi on head end. turn out a head the size and shape you want ,then loctite and jam in place. after drilling and tapping for set screw lock the head is trapped on pin. use mill to also cut relief for barrel using 3/4 endmill. any needed clearance for ejector rod housing can be milled off also. BM pin is much cheaper but when base pin fit is fine already and the cosmetic appearance is unavailable "store bought" -YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF

By coincidence, I bought a small lathe last summer and not had a good use for it until now. Thanks for the encouragement!
