... & I'm happy just talked my local shop, into taking one of the shotgun collections that I wanted to get rid of, in on trade for a Jack O'Conner tribute Winchester model 70... this one is the lower grade tribute rifle, but I plan on shooting it... you guys seen these... pretty dang nice... it'll look nice on my rack next to my 100th anniversary of the 30-06 Remy 700...

hauled in my 11-48 collection today, now only owe about what a cheaper rifle, like a Ruger American, or a Weatherby Vangaurd would cost in .270... I'd have never shot the 11-48's, & they take up so much room... condensed a lot, trading for one high end rifle, that I do plan on shooting

still in lay away... there are 2 versions... mine is the cheaper ( has grade 3 instead of grade 4 French walnut... or some such ) the cheaper ones also have a limb saver recoil pad, instead of an engraved plastic butt plate, & don't come with the embroidered gun case ( the gun case can still be bought separate if desired, if you send them the serial number from your rifle... along with more money )
mine has plainer grain than some I've seen, some have really amazing wood... mine only has "nice" wood
but you can bet I'll post pics of mine, when she gets freed from the LGS
