Don't know about the 380 but doesn't the manufacturer say "WW Silvertips Only" for the 32? When itty bitty guns could still live at my house I always wanted one... Haven't felt the urge in years... I'll spend my $$$s on 45s and better leather...

I have a .32 Seecamp, and firing it tells me a .380 would be a bit much in recoil. While the .32 Seecamp was indeed designed around the Silvertip, Winchester changed the .32 ACP Silvertip, which caused some problems. The last time I checked into it, the .32 Gold Dot was the recommended load, and posts on the Seecamp Forum indicated it was working very well for owners of the pistols. I am just about out of the old Silvertips, and have accumulated some Gold Dots for function testing.

I had 3 of the 32 Seecamps back when they wanted $1,000 or more for them at gun shows. Its a nice little gun, but even in 32 the recoil was nasty. I shot a box of silvertips through one and my hand hurt for a couple days. I sold mine because I decided I really did want sights on my SD weapon.
Sweetest shooting 380 I ever fired was those little locked breech firing Colt Mustangs.

Sweetest shooting 380 I ever fired was those little locked breech firing Colt Mustangs. I have a Colt Mustang and 380 Gov't. No grip safeties on either model. The 380 Gov't has a bushing and is not quite as accurate as the Mustang with its cone shaped muzzle. My only regret is that I did not get the Mustang Lite. The Mustang is all steel and heavy for its size. However, if I ever had to draw and use it the weight helps control recoil. Both are accurate enough for their intended usage. Typical Colts, they both could use some more substantial fixed sights. The 380 Gov't just looks like a slimmed down 1911. Both gobbled up everything I tried except some S&B ball ammo. Go figure. You should have seen and heard the Glasers fired out of both of them. Those things are crowd pleasers. I think Corbon ammo with the Barnes XPB bullets would be the best now. I used to carry Silvertips. Barnes bullets would be better if I was mugged by a CA Condor. The other nice thing is that I can mix and match slides with frames. The Mustang slide on a 380 Gov't frame makes for an interesting combo. Oddly enough, the longer 380 Gov't slide with the shorter frame fits some deep narrow pockets better, so I don't have to dig as deep to get my hand on the grip. A friend had a Llama 380 that looked like a mini 1911 out before Colt had their 380s. That thing choked on everything. It looked cute for a paperweight. I though my Glock 27 would sideline the 380s, but there is something about the 1911 format that makes me not want to let go of them.

I have both the 32 ad 380's. They both fit in a Thad Rybka pocket holster and fit in a front jeans pant pocket easily and without printing.
The 380's recoil is stout!!
But, it is a gem to conceal.
