OK, this one was in a truck fire. The grip frame was melted into a blob. I'd never fire it but it's fun to have. This next one was a $100 pawn shop find. It "went off pawn" and the owner sold it to his employee who happened to be a good friend. It needed proper grips and a different pawl. I was going to convert it to .44 Special but found another Flattop for that. Next is Super s/n 158. I wish I could "hear it's story". Carl

Love the old Flat Top and SBH. I think they look great. My old Flat Top is just starting to get some character.

My $165 pawn shop Abilene. A genuine 2 1/2" gun at 50 yards with the 240 gr XTP loaded stout. Put together better than any factory Ruger I own with a trigger that literally breaks like glass at 2#. This one is easy to hit with.

A couple "awaiting final disposition" A Super Bearcat and the OM 357 I got today. The Bearcat was gutted when I got it. $35 Cabelas bargain cave Hogue Ebonys on the 357 . A better picture woudl not make these look better.

Yup, but I've since acquired a bit newer Flattop for the .44 Special conversion. I put the pictured .44 Special Cylinder and homeboy Bisley hammer into the newer gun and set the "experienced" one back, way back, in the safe. Carl

This one didn't make any friends at the S&W forum.

I wonder why, every revolver needs lots and lots of friends so it doesn't get lonely sitting in the safe. Some of you guys beaters look better than the best of the bunch in my collection.

This is my everyday companion, a 1964 model 28. It is pitted and rusty and was a police trade in. I sure wish it could talk, I am sure it would have a few good stories to tell. BB

I'm sure it would, and I'd really like to hear them
