Do I need to change out hammer and trigger when making bisley conversion on a blackhawk, or is it cosmetic only. I understand the ergonomics of the bisley hammer, but I mean is there a mechanical linkage reason that the I would need to make those changes?

You could just switch grip frames but if you left the BH hammer, you would have a pretty ugly gap/differnce at the base of the hammer if I am not mistaken. If you have the brisley grip frame, just order the bisley hammer and trigger from Ruger along with the two upper grip frame allen head screws. The parts "should" swap right out.  |
