One of my Brother's in Law (I have Seven) is an auto mechanic. When he worked for a local tire company he kept me supplied with wheelweights for bullet metal. The bad news was he decided to move to another job and I thought I had lost my supplier. A couple of weeks ago I ran into him and asked if he knew where I could get some more wheelweights and he said "come by my home shop on Saturday." On arrival he walked me behind his shop, which like most such areas was weedy and full of old junk. He kicked around in a bunch of grapevine and poison ivy and said "Here they are." We started clearing the weeds and I could see several plastic five gallon buckets. We finally got one cleared (moving several black rat snakes in the process.) With much effort we got it out and it was filled with wheel weights! We tried for another and it broke apart. I fetched another bucket from my car and filled it as full as I could, moving another darn sanke in the process. UGH! I spent a good part of Sunday and a couple of hours each night this week processing them into ingots. Ended up with a 114 pounds of clean bullet metal!! ;D
