ARE YOU SURE THAT IS ELMER ? It does NOT look like his nose, and I never ever saw him in glasses like those. AND the hat is smaller and creased differently from any of his I've ever seen in pictures.

Pictures from that era often seem muddy, compared to what we're used to. Elmer did shoot at Camp Perry several times, and was an avid high power shooter.

According to Elmer on page 229 of his book "Keith's Rifles for Large Game", that is a picture of Victor J. Azbe.
