If anybody has photos of guns built by Alan Harton with octagonal barrels, I'd like to see some pics of the front sights.
Thanks!

I'd have him machine the front sight base integral with the barrel..

Actually I want to see the sight blades on an oct. barrel with the integral base..I think I'll just send him a pic of my Dustin gun and be done with it.

Very nice. How did you chamber the muzzle end of the barrel. Looks very clean.

I had wondered how they did that. Know I know. That is a nice looking barrel set up.

I especially like that closeup of the muzzle. The perfection of all the cuts, the precise chamfer and crown, ...just beautiful.
I may not understand the processes but I sure appreciate the end result.

I am sure my first try at an octagon barrel with an integral front sight base is not up to the builders named in this thread but here's a few selected photos out of the the build. Maybe it will give some ideas and help you. Will '69-'70 Will, Having worked in a machine shop for a short time as a young man, I am enjoying the HE** out of your posts to this fine forum! Your work is first rate in every respect! Your knowledge and the quality of your photography are truly appreciated, thank you! Every photo is very enjoyable. All the best, Max.
