I know from the picture the stag grips look like they fit. They don't, not even close, nothing stock does. That is an unknown aftermarket steel gripframe. This gun started out as a $200 pawnshop beater I bought in the mid 90's. I had my local 'smith fit the grip frame, shorten the barrel and send it to Turnbulls for CCH. I'm Having Jack Huntington re-shape and extend the gripframe and fit it with the left over English walnut from my 480 project. Also he is fitting it with one of Aggie01's front sight's. Jack had one in his shop, and they are really nice!! The Before:

Thanks, Whit. The before pic is pretty. A sixgun needs grips that fit, both the gun and the user. That Aggieo1 front sight looks so much better than the stock Ruger to me. + I love interchangeable front blades.

I just can't bring myself to do that.........CCH on the frame/LG/hammer and trigger is enough. I think anymore than that would be going overboard.

Steve.... Why not color case the grip frame? David Bradshaw David, the more I think about it the more intrigued I get......not for this project though. I've never seen it before, though I'm sure it's been done. Brass grip frames look good, I can't see why a CCH gripframe wouldn't look good against a blued frame.
