I have a .357 Flattop that is really nice and minty, but has been converted. The trigger pull is heavy, to put it nicely. Can this be remedied as it is or do I need to reinstall the original parts to get a decent trigger? I haven't had it apart as yet.

We all curse the OM Rugers with the conversion parts in them. However FWIW I've got conversion parts in a Reeder built custom that is as slick as a Ruger action gets..

Try putting the pre-conversion trigger return spring back in. They are lighter than the conversion spring, or get a Wolff trigger return spring if that isn't light enough
