In my 475 Linebaugh - 435gr- 1300 fps, 460gr about 1100 fps. IMO both are a little heavy for regular use. My standard hunting load in the 475 Linebaugh is a 375gr LFNGC at 1420 fps (H110-28.5gr) ,though I do have a LBT 400gr mould that shoots good.

Thanks Sean, Is the 460 accurate? How does the recoil compare to the 420 @ 1350?

The 460 gr shoots 2.5" at 25 yards. , but the 375-425gr cast is more accurate. Recoil is a HEAVY push. Sean Thanks Sean, Is the 460 accurate? How does the recoil compare to the 420 @ 1350?

I have to ask what are you trying to accomplish? I have learned that you have to have a goal in mind to make those exceptionally heavy for caliber bullets worth any effort. I have a 365gr WLNPB mold for the 45 colt that sounded great when I bought it but I rarely shoot it. Its accurate, cast great bullets, but they serve no real purpose for me other than trying to find out if I liked those heavy bullets. They are fine but never get used really, and ceratinly offer very little over my 300gr and 335gr molds that get used 10 times as much.
For me I find in my 475 that I shoot a 375gr LFNPB LBT bullet 90% of the time and only use a 420gr bullet once in a great while now. The 375 is more accurate and pleasant to shoot, heavy enough for any elk I will ever hunt, so what is not to like? If I were go to Alaska and carry the gun I doubt I would switch to the 420gr even then, perhaps, but I doubt it. Now if someone was paying my to Africa the 420gr is going but then I am just dreaming there...
