a friend wants to trade me his 20 + years old Remington 700 bull barrel 223 /5 shot clip ?/w/tripod/ + 300 round ammo
for our 1991 Ford 150 4x4

I have no idea what this rifle is worth ? can anyone help me on value. owner states excellent condition and he does take care of his guns 4sure.

he stated he paid $700 for the rifle in Montana 20 years ago...

Varmint seller says latest caliber.ford worth 900-1495 cash anyone ever shot such a rifle.he used it when he lived in Montana

FULL retail 20 years ago was $540; actual selling price then usually under $500.

They can be found in all original 95% plus condition for $750 - $850 today. Fine rifles they are……I have 4 of the Varmint Specials in different calibers, all very fine shooters.
