Took some new loads out to the range today to give them a try. I took some .45 Colt 255 grain loads, some .45 Schofield 205 grain loads, and some 255 grain Magtech Cowboy loads. I also took my .357 Blackhawk for it's first outing, and put some rounds on paper from my wife's Walther P22, the first time I've had to do it. All rounds were shot off a bench, the Walther at 7 yards, and the rest at 15 yards. The .45 Colt was fired out of my Vaquero with 3-5/8" barrel. First the Walther with Federal bulk ammo in the blue box. 10 rounds/1 magazine. The .45 Schofield, 205 grain lrnfp over 5.0 grains of Trail Boss - 6 rounds The .45 Colt, 255 grain lrnfp over 5.0 grains of Trail Boss - 12 rounds BTW, the single hole on top is not mine. It was from the guy on the next lane, who tought it was funny to shoot my target, untilt he range master saw what he was doing and kicked his butt off the range.
The .45 Colt 250 grain MagTech Cowboy ammo - 30 rounds I also fired a half box of factory .357 mag through the Blackhawk, but nothing to write home about, so didn't bother to record results. Need to work up some loads for it.

Nice targets, we can see the hole at the top is different. Good for the rangemaster!!! Hope Bozo learned his lesson, but probably not.

But he won't be back, since he wasn't a member and they have a no tolerance policy for safety violations, which includes shooting cross lane.
