$4008 and reserve not met. Just under 12 hours remain. Not quite kosher for a collector but this is making my 357 Max converted to 414 look pretty good for a shooter...

I can't believe reserve hasn't yet been met. Methinks the owner is on a fishing expedition moreso than a selling one.

I've owned a lot of Dan Wessons, all Monson Mass, and all "standard" calibers like .22, .357, and .44. I know of the SuperMags and such, but do not reload.
Anyways, at the risk of looking like a newbie, what makes a non-Monson vintage DW worth over $4k??? I could get a herd of Pistol Pacs and enough left over for a cold beer.

The 414SM cartridge is the driver... Some of the DW gurus will chime in with actual numbers some day but there were very few 414s made in any of the production locations.

I've got a nice one....ammo, brass and dies. I like it, but I sure as heck don't think I'm 4k plus loyal to it!

I bought 500 pieces of 414 brass. Really in a quandary on whether or not to fire this gun now.
