Def MAN gun & kicks like a pissed off mule with Federal Fusion 300gr. Primary Arm's red-dot's holdin' up just fine so far- adjustments are spot on & very accurate. Stacks 3 rounds right on top of each other at 25yds.
Oughtta knock over feral hogs like they were hit by a bus. ;D
Oh yeah, 31*, sleet & snow, shootin' off a bench with just a chunk of 4x4 & a folded up towel. Not the best shooting conditions, but my bud & I have hunted in worse, 'n figgered we'd hit the range anyway.
Now this little bastard is MEAN. Bison Armory (1-man shop outta WA) 6.8SPC, 18" SPR barrel & Troy Alpha rail. Vortex Viper 2-7x32 with "Dead Hold" BDC reticle in a DNZ Products (outta NC) Freedom Reaper mount.
Once I realized my stupid butt had somehow managed to forget tighten the mount to the receiver, I torqued 'er down & got a quick, 25yd zero. Put 10 Hornady 110gr BTHPs into one ragged hole. Can't wait to get back out under better conditions & stretch 'er out a bit.
Nice bark with the A2 flash hider. I may check out a Battlecomp BABC comp, if/when next I'm feeling flush. 'Sposed to direct the muzzle blast directly to the front & soften the recoil somewhat. Non-issue, BTW, even nose to charging handle.
Nice weight, too, even with the rail & scope, maybe a hair more than a standard A2. Won't have any problems totin' this thru the woods.
Both of these are gonna make some fine grocery getters.
