Sort of took a family portrait this morning. These are all .44s, bottom two on right are .44 Specials, the rest Magnums. The one on the bottom row right end is a Uberti, rest are Rugers: These have brought me much enjoyment over the years. Hope ya'll enjoy lookin' at them. Top three on left are New Models, rest are three screw. Bob Wright

Is that a brass sqr grip? I was told brass could not take magnum loads? Sweet group.

Is that a brass sqr grip? I was told brass could not take magnum loads? Sweet group. They probably can't, but this Super Blackhawk didn't know it. And its had over 17,000 rounds fired through it. Bob Wright P.S. Never heard that before in my life!

Handsome revolvers indeed. "Brass gripframe can't take .44 mag recoil?" ?? Never heard such a thing. Neither has my old brass grip SBH. However, I was told at Ruger that two 55 gallon drums full of brass grip frames were scrapped----thanks to customer whining about casting flaws. David Bradshaw
