I sent a .45 cal., 310 gr. LBT/WFN mold to Erik to get a pentagonal cup point added to it. These were in the box when it came back. Lyman's 225438-HP, weight is 44 grs. checked and lubed. I will load these and see how they shoot. I have shot a few of Lyman's 225415-HP, and really liked the way they shot. If I decide to cast for .22 cal. the 415 would probably be the way I would go.

After seeing these in a close up shot like this, I think less than half are good enough to shoot.

Nothing like good advice.
Had 35 bullets that I loaded with 2 different powders and 3 different charges.
First the barrel was cleaned to remove any copper fouling. Then five foulers were fired.
I had H-4227 and Lil Gun to play with. The 4227 has always been a good powder in this 218M.B. And it proved to be the same with these. At least better than L.G.
I know that 30 shots is no test, but the 225415 shot into about half the group size as these.
If I keep going with the 22 cal. cast the 415 is probably the mold I will get.
Thanks for the advice to shoot'em.
