My dad and I were digging through reloading supplies yesterday and came across this: Back in the 1970's he wanted a sturdy reloading press to take the range. I guess he didn't like the commercial versions so he made his own. The main body is aluminum and the only part not done in-house was the plastic knob. Looks a lot like the one Sinclair sells as their own.
Certainly sturdy.

That would have made a great machine shop project when I was in high school back then. Maybe then I would have stuck to it. the bench projects were lame, but the shop teacher was a real gun nut back then.
