I bought a Hy Hunter Western Six Shooter today, .357 Magnum, 5 1/2", made in Western Germany. the gun is all blue, with those fake stag grips. Looks to be in very good condition, little wear at cylinder notches. Has the Christy type firing pin.
Price was $274.50 + tax for $310.00 total.
So?

Nice looking piece Bob. Those old Hy Hunters were stout single-actions. It's uncommon to see one it that good a conditional. Looks like you got a real shooter at a very fair price. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

I like it. Especially, the cylinder recessed for case heads and the purply plum color. One day, I hope to see a complete plastic rack of antlers from which that type of grips originate.

Huge , noisey to cock, but heck YEAH fun to shoot . Ditch the grips before being seen in public. This one was so much fun I don't think it's mine anymore. My son borrowed it a couple of years ago . Should I ask ? Nah ,,,, budding single action shooter.
