As we discussed in a thread on the single actions forum, here is some additional .500 JRH load data that put together by one of the first folks to start playing with this round and in fact he has the first one produced by Magnum Research if I can recall correctly.

Thank you! Nothing too earth shattering here, but more is always better!
It seems like the clammor is for loads with HS6. I will probably work some up this spring. I may work some with SR4759 as well.
Wish there was more pressure data.....

I load 14 grains of HS6 under a 460 grain LFN in my FA. It is probably one of the most accurate gun, load combo's I have ever had my hands on.

Have you ever run that load over a chronograph? I use Longshot in my 500 WE but have had such good luck using HS-6 in the 475 I'd like to try it in the 500.

If I remember correctly it does about 1150 out of my 6" barreled 500 WE.
