Picked this up back around the end of June for $160 at the local shop/range. The nipples were all peened over pretty good, but other than that it seems to be in good shape. Looks like it was dry fired a whole lot more than live fired... if ever. Well, as luck would have it, I ended up in the hospital with a burst appendix shortly after, which laid me up for a while (fine now). So this has been sitting here waiting to be sorted out. Decided the other day to try the nipples from my Pietta 5 1/2" 1858 and WHOOO they fit!! Fired off a cylider full of caps in the basement.... loaded it up and took it to the range tonight. Just ran one cylinder through it but shoots just fine ! Anyway, just thought I'd share a couple of pics. These were made in Spain and seem to be of very high quality. It's also slightly more compact than the Italian clones. The hammer falls much easier under my thumb than with my Pietta. Grips are a bit shorter. This one is a factory engraved model.. Pretty happy to finally get to shoot this one. ;D It was a real attention getter with 30gr of Goex at the indoor range !!!
