I recently acquired two Uberti Single Actions, a flat top in .45 Colt, used, and a new Cimarron in .44 Special. The only shooting I had don with the .45 was with Mag Tech factory stuff, so last Saturday tried it with my pet .45 Colt handload: For many years my handgun battery was a mixture of single actions and double actions, now I'm leaning more and more toward the single actions. Stayed with Rugers for long time, now branching out into others. Bob WRight

Really nice shooting Bob. I wish those flat top Ubertis were more common. I'd love to get into one just like yours. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

You can buy them all day long from Dixie Gun Works, as long as you want a 7½". I just wish I had snagged one back when they were $345.

Thanks Craig. Good to know they're available. I may have to order one. Now if they only stocked that model in 38-40. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel syndrome one round at a time"

If they made them in .38-40 I'd already have one. Thought about buying two and doing some parts swapping. What I really want is a Bisley Flat-top .38-40.

Man, at $345 I would have bought two and cut one down. $525 is pushing it, though.
