I got this gun last year in April off of GB from a fella in California. It's a half inch gun made by Jack Huntington and a secret of his. I piad less than two grand for this and was the only one that bid on it in TEN DAYS. Coogs is looking for a one in I don't know Maximum and I believe he'll find it with your help. A 2500 dollar Bowen 45 just went in 20 minutes thanks to the effective communication of this sight. Nothing goes unnoticed ANYWHERE thanks to you good men. How did I (I is capitlized for emphasis) end up with this gun?

Lucky and blessed is all I can say... This site is truely a wonderful place to come on a regular basis when you have the custom revolver itch.. If anything the "no gun sales" rule seems to have whipped us into a find them and post links here frenzy..

Without a doubt, that is THE most beautiful Bisley I have ever seen. Everything on that beauty is exactly right to me.

I saw that gun when it 1st came up for saleI talked to the owner and Jack about this gun several times and the $$ timing wasn't right for me.
I would have bought it in a second.
Axe is right.

Yeah, that one is REALLY nice. A steal at under two grand.
I think like everyone else here said, you got lucky, timing was right for you and wrong for everyone else, etc. 10 days is a long time without any other bids. Guess everyone was looking for something else in particular, or they'd just recently depleted their fun money supply and couldn't jump on it, and you got to take advantage of that.
If'n you decide you don't want it let me know, I'll give you what you paid for it!

That is a great looking gun for sure, I will say this though Bowen's gun always seem to draw more attention and resell quicker, for more money than the other smiths guns do. Also Jack is not nearly as well know as Clements, Harton, and several other gunsmiths, not that his work is second rate he is just not as well known. It probably had a lot to do with your luck.
Nice pick up

All I can say is if I had seen it on GB there would have been two of us bidding on it and if I was lucky, it could have joined that Bowen you mentioned.

You know what they say....
Every now and then, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

Nice pick up Fowler hit the nail on the head!!!! My first 475 was built by Bowen, he builds excellent revolvers. Jack builds excellent revolvers that take a back seat to no one
