Fellow shooters.
Just stopped by the puter on the way back to the reloading room.
The Glock 20 / 10MM will feed and function with the .401-200 LMNGC just fine. The initial load is 11.0 of 2400 and the 200gn cast, seated to an OAL of 1.255"
After measuring the "groove" of the polyagonal barrel on the Glock, I confirmed what I've suspected. The Groove is .403. Bullets were gas checked and lubed by sizing just barely to get the lube injected in the lube groove. This left the front band right at .4035.
So far good functioning and no leading. Groups are "all shots touching" at 25 yards when we do our part.
more info and picts to follow,
Todd

My G20 is .403" too. Haven't done much with cast in it, but you are definitely encouraging me!!!
I like AA9 in mine vs 2400. 800x is good too, but meters very poorly throught the powder measure.

Quick update before we go for supper, ( best friend Joel is down )
So far 50+ rounds and absolutely NO leading. In fact, I think the barrel is cleaner than with the jacketed stuff, as I had to throughly cleaned the gook out before starting this quest.

Do you plan on making a version of this that is a plain-base that throws .403"+? If so, where do I send the money?

I used some Beartooth in my 20 with Power Pistol and they looked like a shotgun pattern

Here is the official report. I cleaned the barrel before starting ( which had only been jacketed bullets so far ) and I must say it was ugly with powder fouling. I tried hard to get it all out but there was still a some lines of stuff stuck in the grooves halfway down thru the end of the barrel. It resolved to leave it as I was tired of scrubbing. We ( Joel and I) started out with loading singly and firing while working up a load. I was suprised when we each shoot and we would have pairs touching. Then we loaded five and shot at 25 yards. The result was one outside then two seperate pairs of holes that were touching. I figured it was due to the coarse sights, waterpistol trigger my unfamiliarization. So we ended up shooting two seperate groups, His and mine. There were no feed issues, no functioning hiccups, no booboos. My total group for 25 yards was 5 inches outside to outside. Joel shot a 15 round group and it wa 4 inches outside. I really don't know if that is good for a Glock or not. I've never owned one. I was really excited to see the first few holes chopping a hole. Alas it didn't stay that way. Sorry if I got you all excited for naught. Muzzle showed a distinct "wetness" of lube star and the barrel showed very minute streaking in the grooves. I wonder if the streaking was due to the leftover gunk I left in the barrel, as it was in the same areas and distances. There was no evidence of leading at the chamber leade nor the first part of the barrel. All in all the bore condition was far FAR cleaner than the jacketed stuff. In reviewing, I'm going to re-size some 41 mag bullets to .404-.405 and see how they do. I figure .001 over groove will do well, if they will chamber freely and function. I have a couple videos coming I'll post so you can see the groups. Just have to download them. thanks todd downloaded quicker than I thought.

A lot of folks will tell you that's about all a Glock will do. I know better... especially if you smooth the trigger connector out a little with a dremel buffing wheel. And especially with a 10mm.
You need .403" boolits to make it shine. The sights on them will work, but they are not the greatest for some eyes.
