Maybe this belongs in the Gallery but I never go there. Firstly, CLC claro walnut on my old Clements Bisley .44Mag. I've changed grips three times since I last took pics of this thing. Time for an update. A .357 flat-top I picked up off RugerForum last week, circa 1958 with claro robbed off my Single Six. My new USFA .44Spl, found on Gunbroker about two weeks ago. Some togetherness. For 1911 fans, an RIA Tactical model .45, a great value on today's market.

Thanks gents! I've been waiting for a nice overcast day to take some pics. Today was a good one, except I tried to take some with the new flat-top and the hard chromed Stroh .44Spl and there was just too much glare to correct. Otherwise it was just right!

The color contrast on the Bisley is something else. I assume Turnbull CCH? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Yep and it has the lacquer clearcoat as well. Which seems to really bring out the color.
The polish on the blued parts is actually better than the pics suggest as well. The grip frame is slightly plum.

Thanks again!
The bluing is worn in several places on the grip frame and ejector but the case colors are just as they were when I first opened the package from Clements. It has held up very well.

I was looking at a closeup I took of the Bisley's case colored frame and realize that my reflection is in the heads of both pins. Pretty funny. The monkey with the camera. Close-up of the grips.
