As the feller said on the old beer commercial, "It jus' don't get no better'n that." At least when it comes to DA triggers and target accuracy in a revolver. That's a pretty gun. I hope you do intend to shoot it and not make it a safe queen.

Indeed I do! I also intend to find a correct Diamond Magna left grip panel, I didn't notice at first that it was the incorrect type. The right panel is numbered to the gun.

Quite a find Boge. And I too would've removed the Tyler insert. Amazingly clean piece for being 58 years old. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

5 screw heavy barrel, quite the find! Get some correct non relieved diamond targets for it. Those feel great, little rounder than later target grips IMO.

Those are great guns and that is a wonderful example.
I picked up a nearly NIB example of the same age (with box, original grips, Herrett target grips, 4 boxes of ammo, and some other misc stuff) for $375 a few years ago. I've run about 1k rounds through it since. They're great guns and make the shooter look good (ie very accurate). I have a later model K22. One day, I'll find a K32 for a good price and complete the trifecta.

I love it! What a great shooting revolver! I bought my M14 last summer. Great guns!

Very cool. Here's it's older .22lr brother: a 1948 K22 with numbered grips and Tyler-T. The old K-frames are just wonderful revolvers, and often sell for much less than the value of the enjoyment you'll get shooting them.

You got dat right! I've had a 6" K-22 (Target) for a couple of years, and my sweetie bought me a nice companion for it, a 4" K-22, for my 50th birthday last year.
I'm getting a serious thing for K-frames, I need me a K-32.
