Well, its raining sixguns at my house!! First, I got the call from Harton. He is building me another custom 32 magnum Bisley AND converting my 44 mag Flattop Anniversary to Bisley with a passel of other fine touches like only he can. Once he starts, they dont take long so, standby for updates.
I purchased a 325 Smith 45 acp and a 625 Smith 45 Colt from Mellonhead over on Castboolits forum. I expect them sometime next week....
Last, I also got a call from Bob Baker. My 357 FA97 is coming back with full action tune, trigger stop, and the addtion of a 38 special cylinder. My 45 Colt/ACP FA97 also got a new barrel. Both were carefully gone thru by the good folks at FA so I am expecting good things. Pics and reports to follow. Going to be a good summer!
Barranti is building me a special signature rig for my 97s. I cant wait. My big brother is bedding my 338 Lapua in anticipation of SLAMMING some big hogs!!! I also have a like new Nightforce scope for that bad boy.
Last, I put a 629 6" power port 44 magnum on layaway..... Now, if I can just get that 625 PC back from Smith and Wesson again!!! Hopefully shooting like it outta!!!

2 Dogs, sounds like you're having a gunpalooza! Wow, so many guns to shoot, so little time. Sounds like you've got you're work (or play rather) cut out for you. Would love to see pics once they are in hand.

I'm still distracted by that fine octagon 45 Clements gun of yours, so hard to pay attention through all this--but picked up on the Lapua.
I have way too many custom bolt guns--but am lusting for a 338 Lapua. Hesitated too long on a GAP built gun recently, and just need to have one built. I want one that I can carry and hunt, so something lighter than the TRG 42. If these darn single actions would quit distracting me, I'd be able to see my project through. After just paying Clements upon finishing my OM FT 45, Bowen for the 500L octagon, a Gallagher 41sp on and OM Ruger and the TLA border special--it's been raining guns here the past week. Got the first three in the mail this week, hole ro have the TLA next. Everytime I start looking at my Lapua project--some darn single action gets in the way.

My 338 Lapua is just the Savage 110 FCP. I bought it on a whim and couldnt be happier. I know where a Surgeon magnum action is languishing sans barrel right now! Normally I would be scheming and scamming on how to acquire it but this Savage is seriously a good rifle. Like you, I have a whole pile of custom bolt actions. I just really like this one and have killed so many hogs with it in short order it is fast becoming a favorite. So stay on it! A man cant live on SAs alone!!! Let me know if youre wanting this Surgeon action, I will see if I can get you hooked up.
