Let's get a count of the .500 Maximums on this website (and a picture wouldn't hurt!). bigbores mentioned trying to put together a group buy of properly headstamped brass, so it would be nice getting an idea of how many are here and how many would be interested in brass.

 It's at Jack Huntingons place right now getting a makeover. It's going to look like yours Whit, only with Turnbull Color Casehardening. It should be done before Christmas. |

You've seen this pair; top is my brother's, bottom is mine.  We're pretty well set for brass, but I'd go in for a few more if they were from Hornady. |

Not yet ready for primetime - here's my Max in a box. Still in the hunter/gatherer stage. Have begun preliminary discussions with the 'smith.  NIB Maximum with Gallagher barrel, Bisley goodies and a flattop style Bowen RC sight. I'm definitely in if we make a brass group buy. Tim |
