Took my wife shopping today and dropped her of at the store. I went to the local pusher and looked in the case. What did I see? It was a 41 mag Bisley with fluted cylinder. I didn't bother looking at anything else he had. It had a few scratches and ware spots, but the cylinder lock up tight. I was concerned when he said the state insta-check system was down earlier in the day, but when they sent it threw, it came back in about three minutes and it came home with me. Oh boy, I'd have had to bring that one home too! Love those early fluted Bisleys. I missed out on a fluted Bisley .41Mag a few years ago. It was priced right and really nice except for the scratches around the trigger/bolt pin. Should've bought it anyway and had it gussied up.

Beautiful find there Bill!
To me, the fluted Bisleys are the most beautiful guns to ever leave the Ruger factory.

That is a great find. I like a fluted cylinder way more than an unfluted one. Thanks for sharing. Frank

If I spotted that it would absolutely follow me home. Nice find, especially it being an early fluted model. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Congrats - nice score. I scored a 98% fluted 41 Bisley at the Cablea's in TX a few years ago for under $400 - it was one of my better bargains buys.
