Nobody ever made a revolver just the way I wanted it. Here's one:
Single action, flat top frame with Patridge sight, case harded in colors, .44 Special, 4 3/4" barrel, ramp front sight, one piece walnut grips.
So there.

Sounds like a build sheet to me! Got a donor gun? I am hoping for a Colt New Frontier, keeping this on the back burner just in case. Bob Wright

Ya, get a 357 NM Flat top 50th ann and ship it off to Gallagher. You might even be able to talk him in to doing his bone charcoal process CCH. I ran across this online article a while back.... "John Gallagher's little .44 Special built on the Ruger .357 Blackhawk 50th Anniversary Model shoots the Sierra 180 JHCs exceptionally well." www.sixguns.com/BookOfThe44/bot44c20.htm

Well, you see I've already done something like that, not a Flat Top, but a Three Screw ex-.357 Magnum now a .44 Special: This is now my daily carry gun, in a Bob Mernickle holster: But I want the Colt, with the hammer mounted firing pin, the works. Bob Wright
