I haven't started a photo thread in ages so I thought I'd do so. How about we create one for rare, off-brand single-actions? I know we have tons of them on this forum.....we've just never put them in one place. I'll start with a North American Arms 450 Magnum Express from 1984. Only around 530 of these were built. The round was essentially a long 45 Win Mag: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Great Western Deputy, this in .22. I have bounced ideas off the accomplished collectors and scholars to try and come up with a proper production figure. What I think happened is, they built 50 for their distributor Stoeger over 1957-58. Then Great Western was idled / shut down by their owners. EMF picked the company up, and maybe 25 more Deputies got built over 1959 – 61 for general mail order retail. Mine is without a doubt from 1959.

Yeah, that Great Western is slick!
Do you have any more pictures of it? Looks to be the same proportions as a Blackhawk, and with only six .22 caliber holes in the cylinder, has got to be a substantial chunk of metal!

I don’t have any other decent pics handy.
Its SAA / OM Blackhawk sized, albeit with a 4 inch barrel.
In .22 I know the weight is 46 ounces, as opposed to about 49 ounces for Great Westerns regular 5 ½ inch .22
