Received my latest sourdough pancake from Rob yesterday for my 5 1/2" Cap & Ball Remmington NMA clone. Just wanted to post a pic with it's fraternal twin 5 1/2" 1860 Army clone holster. Both holsters are set up with the "inside out" straps for IWB carry (but taken off for the pic). Amazed at how easy these are to carry IWB, and that Simply Rugged would be willing to make holsters for this pair. Thanks again Rob! The Remmie gets basket weave stamping, and the Colt gets fish scales. Very happy with this pair. Edit to add: The 44 Remmie was a surprise gift from my dad for my 44th birthday this year

Dang man, when I first saw this thread I thought the title was "Hooters (Fraternal Twins)". What a letdown.
I think this "1/2 Caff" coffee just ain't cutting it...

I like those kinds of "twins" to be identical !!

As John Bianchi & Skeeter Skelton have said: Lining does not solve the problem of wear on the guns finish, rather it makes it worse, properly fitting holsters solve that problem. I have found this to be the case myself. Rob Leahy Maker, Simply Rugged Holsters

I have found this to be the case myself. Rob Leahy Maker, Simply Rugged Holsters ...and I've found all of my Simply Rugged holsters fit the guns VERY well. You can hold the holsters upside down and the guns stay put.

Nice looking pair, well thought out plan. I reccommend you NOT use such language should you find a comely lass wearing such a pair.

I sadly admit that I haven't taken advantage of Robb's talents lately, but I must say...some of these more recent offerings sure have me drooling... ;D One of Robb's designs I snapped up on a couple years back was his "buckle of bullets" belt buckle. Usually whenever I wear it, I get the "gee, those are REAL 44 bullets on that buckle??" comments... which are probably followed by thoughts of "crap, where is the gun??" LOL!
