Nothing fancy compared to some of the high end iron around here, but I snapped this photo of my little Single Six today. This one has been with me for a while now. I hope there's nothing wrong with showing off a simple picture of a well-loved .22!

Nothing wrong with that at all, especially when it's accompanied by such a fine looking sixgun! Very nice! I'd love to have one just like it.

shooting .22's..............That's how I was taught. Just because I show off/shoot big bores.......I would hate it if people thought I hated .22s

Some special about about the Single Six... Most of us who started out with something else realize that we shouldn't have. Just think of what we could have been!

A single action .22 is what got me hooked on single actions. Except it wasn't a Ruger, it was a JP Sauer & Sohn that was my dad's (now mine). Ever since I was a young boy I loved shooting that gun - it took many years (and $$) to realize my addiction.
weconway, nice gun and picture!

Very sweet looking single six. I'd like to add one to my small stable some day.

I have had my Super Single Six for over 40 years and I would love to have the ammunition back that I have fired in it. Probably fill up one of my closets. They are great little guns that no one should be without. I also have a 22 mag cylinder that came with it. It has been shot a little but way shy of the 22lr. It is down to about 60% blue at this time and I hope it is down to 10% by the time I kick off.

Love the photo! The single six is next on my list of "needs"... maybe a single "ten"? .22 is getting to be all I can afford to shoot in any quantity!
