My local pusher has two. One made in Italy, and one made in Germany. This is what the store owner told me. I know nothing about the EMF revolvers. The italian one he is asking $595 for. I thought it was a great looking revolver, cant remember the model but it is a .44 special.
Looking for thoughts on EMF, price, quality, opinions.......

Howdy, this is my first post on this site. I saw the EMF so I had to post. I recently acquired my 1st Great Western II. It was A 3 1/2" ejectorless sheriff or shopkeepers model. Got it on Gunbroker. It said used but I don't think it's been shot. Anyway I was talking to the guy who generally answers the phone at EMF and he had a couple of Alchemesta take off gripframes with checkered walnut grips of the Thunderer variety. They had light laser engraving. I bought one for 125.00. My shopkeeper will be my carry piece and the birdshead is smaller than the plow grip. He also had Bisley style hammers for SAA frames. Low profile maybe easier for conceal. Got one. Last but not least was the wide trigger. In 1973 my first single action cartridge revolver was an EMF Uberti 1875 Remington in 44-40. Pinched wedge front sight, brass trigger guard. It could nail dinner plates at 100 yards like clockwork. I kept it until 1982 I needed money after a move(I was married then and didn't know any better). This GWII is impressive. I've shot Uberti's since 1989 without regret and getting ready to order a Uberti Bisley from Dixie Gunworks in 38-40. I genuinely wished I knew how to post pics of this little beauty it's turning into a neat lil hybrid cowboy gun. I think I'm gonna order a 45acp cylinder for it just to save some money plinking. Maybe I'll figure out the picture post.
