I purchased a High Standard Supermatic Trophy in the late 70's a very accurate 22LR. Sometime in the 80's someone relieved me of this fine piece. After many years (20 plus) I finally found a replacement in excellent condition, with 2 barrels and here she is About a month later as luck would have it I found a "Victor" and I bought it also I am estactic about find these excellent pistols

Those old High Standards were fine guns.. I hate that some of the remakes have tarnished their reputation. I stumbled upon a full Clark Custom back in the 90s... All the good stuff. Douglas barrel, Bomar rib, Clark's tiger tooth stippling... Seems like when I checked the frame was from a Hamden gun too...

The trouble is, it is not Stan's! There are no toes or Spidey boxers in the picture!

I got this unfired Sharpshooter in the box with the factory papers. I'm probably gonna let one of my kids be the first to pull the trigger. I'm not sure what year it is. The barrel is as big as a quarter. It's a beaut.
