Well since I've sent my "Bulldog" to the kennel (Charter Arms) to be re-trained (had some issues right out of the box) I decided to grab my Sourdough and my 29-2 for my CCW. I did get to shoot the bulldog a few times before issues erupted and man did I like that .44 special! So instead of strapping on the Hi-Power I decided I'd see just how well this rig would work. I've got to say that big 29 carries real easy, crossdraw, in the Sourdough and shooting those Silvertips in the big N-frame is pure pleasure! I see no reason why I'll have to settle for carrying the 9mm again. Sorry about picture quality, it's the best I can do. The belt, by the way is an old Nacona. I've been working hard at losing some fat so I've had to modify it. It's too comfortable and I'm too cheap to invest in another one.

I really like that. And there's something about old nickel N-frames. Do you know year it was produced? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

You can see the hammer drag in the pic and its dragging a bit on two chambers.

If you want to carry that big revolver concealed sometimes, Simply Rugged makes inside-out straps that will allow you to wear the holster and gun inside your waistband.

My 4" nickeled 29 was also made in '82... and also sports pachys. Excellent taste, sir. I believe the pachmayrs look right on a nickeled N frame.

I've got a Silver Dollar on the way with the IWB kit. This Sourdough conceals extremely well when worn strong side. It keeps that big n frame pulled tight to the body and I always dress appropriately for the occasion. Heck if you plan the wardrobe right it can even be worn crossdraw. I don't worry too much about a bump under my shirt as long as the weapon is concealed. I like your "clock" there toro. Looks like it's "time" to try and save more pennies so I can get some more nickel.

I know I'm late to the party, but I have some experience with the Simply Rugged holster. My Wife bought me one for my G19, it has the inside out straps & I use it a LOT. It will carry a gun all day & still be comfortable at the end of the day. www.simplyrugged.comI like the holster a lot. Frank That looks like a Simply Rugged in your picture Paul. FV

Paulg I'm pretty much a Ruger guy but I have lusted after a smith 4inch 29 for years either blue or nickle and that pic of yours just fuels that fire. What a great looking gun
