I'm wondering what you guys that have single actions in your veins see in the future for Virginian Dragoons . Even with their being discontinued 25 years ago they seem to linger in the "also ran " category with little collector appeal. I keep dragging them home because they are big, strong, solidly built and American made but often run into folks who either don't know they exist or prefer Italian. So what do you think? Are they doomed to forever remain in the Hawes, Herder's,kinda second class status or will they some day achieve a United Sporting Arms , Abilene,Seville like cult status.

I don't own a crystal ball, but I do think that the Virginian Dragoons will come into their own. Until then, they are excellent sixguns that can still be had at a good price - if it never gets any better than that, then that's good enough for me!
