When I got my 327 back from Reeder He sent the 30 cylinder with it, reblued and he said shoot it and It's more accurate ( 30 carb ) the before. He taylor throated and recrowned the barrel. I fired over 100 rounds thru it today and it so FUN ! Shot the 300 GNR also, so it was a very enjoyable afternoon with my son

I have an old model blackhawk .30 Carbine that is more accurate than me at 25 yards; only 1 of 3 revolvers (that I own) I can say that about.

I need to get a picture of dad shooting this one at dusk. For some strange reason he wanted a 30 carbine and likes 4 5/8" barrels like me (and likes rubber grips, NOT like me), so I made him one. He traded into another one, so I need to run them both across the chronograph and see what the loss is.

I shot a friends several times. It was accurate, low recoil, but VERY LOUD. Heck if you want one get it. Frank

I put 12 out of 12 rounds on a paper plate at 200 yards with irons sights with one. (in a group a good deal smaller than the paper plate too I will add)
Someone predicted I would never forget that group and regret converting it into something else. I can't say they were wrong.

I spent the better part of a day shooting Jeff's Old Model 30 Carbine Blackhawk at the Shootists Holiday a few years back. The thing shoots FLAT and FAST, and I was plinking rocks at 400 yards with ease. I HAD to have one, and in short order an Old Model and a New Model were sitting side-by-side in the safe.
They are FUN - and that's enough!

I wear plugs and muffs together whenever I shoot, so maybe it is a moot question, but, how does the 32-20 compare with the .30 carbine, noise and blastwise? Just curious.
