Groo here Kaytod I Think you may have hit on something,, The bullet nose will not slump when hit hard by the pressures, the feed will work in a lever gun , and they just LOOK right .. When can we get some ... PS. Please please please -- do not make them Heave!!!!! we have plenty of those.. Take that design and weight and make for other cal. for the same weight to bore ratio..

If you hollowpoint the bullet to the size of the flat and down to the groove that will be a good deer an such bullet.. I would also use a Keith type crimp groove , that one looks more square.
