I am endeavoring a customized SAA project and I need a high-quality barrel made to standard contour, .427 bore, 6.5" long, threaded for a 3rd generation Colt SAA frame. I need it in the white with no caliber markings, etc as I have something custom in mind.
Any ideas on who makes SAA barrels that I could have made to my length spec? I called Eddie Janis at Peacemaker Specialists - he's unable to help.
Thanks, DeWayne

I would think that any good gunsmith should be able to accommodate.

I don't know any gunsmiths, much less any good ones ... I'm like Sen. McCarthy - I need you to name names.

Alan Harton makes Colt SAA barrels any way you want them.

Thanks. I've been e-mailing Hamilton Bowen as well and I think I'm going to turn the project over to him as soon as I collect the cylinders I need. Thanks much.

Thanks, Dave. I think Hamilton's got me taken care of, but I'll holler if the need arises.

Ham's a good guy. I think he uses the same source for barrel blanks that I use
