Very nice! That would make a great hunting companion. I love the front sight blade, I have one like it on a Gallagher SBH and it has become my favorite style.

Ed, Tell us more about the SBH hammer restyle! Great looking revolver! Tim I had Alan do a similar treatment to an old Flattop he converted to 38 WCF for me. There are photos of it in his album posted elsewhere. It just seems that the factory hammer is thicker than it should be along the length to the thumb piece. And the thumb piece a bit fat as well and almost square. I liked the one he did previously which I just marked up with a Sharpie so went for it again. I actually prefer the reach to a SBH hammer over that of the Bisley. The hammer on my 44 Special below that he built is also from a SBH with the thumb piece milled away to the width of the hammer. You can see how thick this one is compared to the Bisley's. I wish I would have thinned this one as well. May need to have it done some day. Also, no one does as fine a BP chamfer as Alan IMO. Very crisp. Note that this is a SBH so Alan added the flutes too.

Wow, that is really nice. I usually prefer the Bisley hammer but that hammer looks perfect the way it is. When I finally get the money up to do my first Bisley build I might have to consider that hammer instead now. Great looking revolver. Looks like just the ticket for an all-around, take-everywhere handgun. Absolutely beautiful.
