Anybody got that set of FOXFIRE BOOKS they are fun to read--tells about how everthing was done in the mountains of N.C. and Tenn. even gun making--had to have a big ANVIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, Read and re-read the gun and BP making books. My buddy and I (He went into Navy EOD) made our own black powder. Made our own willow charcoal etc. corned it with rubbing alcohol and dried it in my mom's electric oven. we made several BP rifles after he came up with an old M2 50 cal barrel. had a lot of fun never got hurt. BTW cabinet needs more single sixs.

Rabun County Ga to be exact. My great grandfather is actually in a couple of the books. Showing the old ways.

Nice, but "Homeboy" in the title was mis-leading. I was expecting more like a box of Hi-Points & Ravens locked in the trunk of a '64 Impala, or '76 Grand Prix
