Is its possible to free spin my flat top and still keep the clicking sound. I just signed paper work yesterday on my lipsey flat top. Now the wheels are turning in my head.

I don't think so. I believe free spinning it involves hand modification that takes away the clicks.

It's not possible, I know because I once asked for the same thing. If you look at the way the cylinder has beveled lead-in's to each lock groove on the outside (six positions), you'll see that is where the "click" comes from, when the pawl drops down into the notches. Free spin eliminates this to allow the cyclinder to rotate either way.
