We had a late Chrstmas yesterday because my step-son was out of state with the other side of his family. We alternate holidays. He's been really showing an interest in guns in general and handunning a pig specifically. He likes shooting my .45 Bisley and any other handgun he can get ahold of is soon run dry. He's 15 now and a little taller than me. His grandpa has had a 3 screw SBH since he was 17, and knowing that it's easier to load a big gun down than it is to make a small gun bigger, i got him this as his first handgun: An here he is on our late Christmas morning as woken up: I think he likes it, but we're going to burn a lot of Unique before we burn any H110...

Do you adopt? Seriously, that's very nice and the memories you create with him with that gun will be more valuable than anything. Great job dad!

No adoptions being taken at this time.
He's already asking about a free spin pawl and some curly maple grips....

I can see possibilities here for many special occasions to come.. Grips, rear sight, front sight blades, leather, free spin pawl, Bisley conversion, Ron Power hammer and trigger, locking OS basepin, octagon barrel, 5 shot cylinder....

What state are you located in? for some reason, I was thinking Missouri, if so, shoot me a PM. Got the contact info for a place that would work great to get him a hog with that sixgun

axehandle, i was thinking the same thing. my fist handgun was my .41 which got turned into a bisley as soon as i could buy the parts myself. for piggin a 250 keith around 1000 fps will be plenty. i got into a fight and stopped a fight with a 300 pounder with that a 250 around 1000 fps.
