Excellent start! I attached mine to wall studs with some large door hinges. I have various presses, sizers, trimmers, etc that I bolt to short pieces of 2x8 and C clamp to the bench as I need them...

It sure looks like it's plenty strong!
It also looks like you could probably add a couple of shelves, in the upper half area, to hold supplies.

I actually was thinking of adding a second shelf. Also, I plan to anchor it to the 2x6 that sets atop the concrete for better stability.

Looks Great!
Did you double layer the top of the bench?
I would definitely add a shelf in the middle of your bench or place some shelves on the wall above your bench.

Van, the top is not double layered. It is just a single 1X12X48 screwed to the 2X4's.

Well, I worked on the bench some more today. Got the press and powder measure mounted and I'm almost set up to start. I definitely need to put an extra shelf below for storage!

It is obvious that you are a craftsmen who also thinks. Nice job. There can never be too many shelves - it's apparent you will be addressing that shortly.

Add a shelf and place heavy items on it to give extra stability.

Nice bench - maybe ask Santa for a progressive reloader - The Hornady L-n-L AP would be a nice start and then later one maybe an ole Starr or Dillon 1050.
