Indeed, I haven't seen any Beaver in my ramblings down here yet, but then again I haven't got to ramble too much yet

Sounds like some tough shots Bill! You need a 327 Federal! Fermin my Buckeye 32/20 is all a 327 federal could hope to be! I will admit that they are just begging for me to hammer them with that gun but I just shoot them with whatever load/gun I happen to be shooting that day. I mean heck anything will kill them, I thought about offing a few with my 475 but the load that it was sighted in for was down to 5 rounds so that fun was going to run out quick. So it was a tough choice between the 45 colt Bisley and the flat top 44sp, the 44sp won because I had more ammo and I am shooting it really well right now. Who know what the next trip will bring. I will say the 44sp certainly has a little more margin for error being 44 dia as opposed to 32 cal. Oh and I am really liking that 429215GC bullet you twisted my arm into buying...

Good shootin Bill, our squirrels are a little more friendly, quite a few of the shots we get are in the 20 yd range, still not much of a target. I like your stocks! ;D, you done good.
If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'm headed out for a rematch with that big muscled up badger, he's B&C for sure.

That badger is about bought and paid for! Yep, I'd hate to know that Dick had a sixgun with him and was out looking for me

Back in the ranching days of my past, SE Colo, had a big badger cross the ranch road in front of me, was heading up a cow trail. I bailed out with the only gun I had with me at the time, a 6" S&W 41 Mag loaded with 3/4 jackets. Took me 3 shots to get on him, but the 4th parked him on the spot. Only one I ever got with a pistol.
